ترک صدر رجب طیب اردوان نے کہا ہے کہ آیا صوفیا مسجد کے بعد اگلی منزل مسجد اقصیٰ ہے  اب ہم مسجد اقصیٰ کو آزاد کروائیں گے اسرائیلی میڈیا نے انقرہ اور تہران کیلئے مسجد اقصیٰ کو آزاد کروانا پہلی ترجیح قرار دیا ہے ترکی میں آیا صوفیا کو دوبارہ مسجد میں تبدیل کرنے اور آج نماز جمعہ کی ادائیگی پر اسرائیل بوکھلاہٹ میں مبتلا ہوگیا ہے

اسرائیلی خبررساں ادارے کے مطابق ترک صدر رجب طیب اردوان نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ آیا صوفیا 86 سال بعد مسجد میں تبدیل کرنے کے بعد ہماری اگلی منزل مسجد اقصیٰ ہے  اب ہم مسجد اقصیٰ کو آزاد کروائیں گے اسرائیلی میڈیا مذہبی رنگ دیتے ہوئے پروپیگنڈا کر رہا ہے کہ ترک صدر کے بیان کو مذہبی حلقے عوام میں پھیلا رہے ہیں اور کہا جا رہا ہے کہ اس مقصد تمام عالم اسلام کو متحد ہونا ہوگا

اسی طرح ترکی کے حماس کے ساتھ بھی قریبی تعلقات اطلاعات ہیں جبکہ ایران پہلے ہی حماس کی حمایت کرتا ہے  ان دونوں ممالک کی خارجہ پالیسی میں بھی مسجد اقصیٰ کو آزاد کرانا پہلی ترجیح ہے  خیال رہے10 جولائی کو ترک عدالت نے تاریخی عمارت آیا صوفیا کے حوالے سے تاریخ ساز فیصلہ دیا  عدالت نے آیا صوفیا کو دوبارہ مسجد میں تبدیل کرنے کا حکم دیا

ترک صدر نے 11 جولائی کو عمارت کو مسجد میں تبدیل کرنے کی منظوری دی تھی  جبکہ مسجد میں آج 24 جولائی کو 86 سال بعد پہلی نماز جمعہ ادا کی گئی آیا صوفیہ مسجد کی عمارت کو 1934 میں مصطفیٰ کمال اتاترک نے میوزیم میں تبدیل کردیا تھا ترکی میں جب سلطنت قائم تھی تو یہ عمارت مسجد میں تبدیل کی گئی تھی  یہ تاریخی عمارت 1453 سے قبل 900 سال تک بازنطینی چرچ کے طور پر استعمال ہوتی رہی تھی لیکن سلطنت عثمانیہ کے دور میں مسجد میں تبدیل کردیا گیا تھا۔
